Get ready to share – and have some fun!

Sunday – this Sunday, Dec. 12 – is Mitten Tree Sunday.

At St. Andrew’s, that’s cause for excitement. We have fun throwing mittens, hats, scarves and socks onto our bare Christmas tree in the sanctuary. It’s over-the-top fun and a fabulous way to warm up someone’s life. What we collect is shared among agencies that serve those who need a bit of warmth – agencies including the David Busby Street Centre and Youth Haven.

So as winter hits and you’re out shopping, pick up something to warm up someone who needs a helping hand. Items can be dropped off at the church office – or thrown at the tree this Sunday, during worship. We meet at 10 a.m.

Here’s a photo of our tree in 2019.
