Little Warmer Winter Tree

As the temperatures become cooler, we know that winter is just
around the corner and for many this means trying to stay warm.
Once again, the WMS have erected their Little Warmer Winter Tree at the corner of Owen Street and Worsley Street, as of November 1st.

Donations of warm hats, socks, scarves and mittens may be
dropped off in the tote each Sunday at Steckley’s. During the
week, you can leave your donations in the tote at Collier Street
United Church during office hours. Let’s help keep everyone in
Barrie warm this winter!

Alton Mill Art Centre

The St. Andrew’s Art Guild invites you to join us for a day trip to Alton Mill Art Centre in Caledon, Ontario on November 21st.

We’ll be carpooling — the meeting location is still to be determined, and suggestions are welcome.

Jigsaw Puzzle Sale

Are you a jigsaw puzzle fan, enthusiast, addict? We are planning an event just for you! We will have a sale of gently used puzzles for you to purchase. But first we need you to open your stash of completed puzzles and donate them over the next few weeks. Ask your family and friends to donate their gently used puzzles too. We will sort the puzzles and have them ready for our sale date Saturday, November 22, 9am-1pm. Bring your bag and get a whole new-to-you stash of puzzles! There will be bins for donations at Steckley’s on Sundays and at Collier Street during the week.
